Back-up or not back-up ... That's the question!!

If you are an Apple user since many years now or are a brand new Apple lover, one of the first things you should come to realize is what has brought you to the Apple computer, and how precious your equipment and data is to your life?

If you have both these answers clearly to your satisfaction then this article will only be a reminder of things you might already know or do with your Mac. It is a must and so easy! We live in a digital world. So much gets stored on your computer which you surely don’t want to loose.

Let's ask ourselves, having most probably paid a reasonable amount of money for your device, whether it was for a Macbook, iMac model or an iPhone, how will it serve me in the most safe, easy, cost-effective way and this durable for a good amount of years?

Many users unfortunately in the Apple world are often not advised properly on which model to buy, to get the most out of their equipment. Once home or at the office, you have maybe installed it yourself or maybe a friend helped you. But one of the most important steps will be slowly fading or be forgotten over time and a busy schedule: a daily back-up of your data.

Use 'Time Machine' the way it was created for your Mac.

Why take a risk at losing your entire iPhoto library with all your most precious photos or your clientele data, just because your computer hard disk was silently filling up and is days away from a major crash? All you have to do is set it up from the start, in a way that it will do it even automatically for you. If you don't know how to do it, then let us help you.

Time machine is so easy to do. And you don't even need to remember to do it every day if you set-it up properly from the beginning.

- All you need is an external hard disk or if you are a light user possibly the 'Time Capsule' could be something for you.

- Maybe you even want a double back-up once a week or month to keep a back-up disk at a separate location.
